Don Brown is Compass's founder and chairman of the board. Compass Biomedical is a research and development company focused on enabling cell and cancer therapies. He is also one of Isto Biologics founders, a commercial stage orthobiologics medical device company. He also sits on the board of directors for Zetagen Therapeutics. Zetagen is a privately held clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company dedicated to driving breakthrough innovation in the treatment of metastatic bone cancers and osteologic interventions.

Kim leads lab and preclinical evaluations, partnering with academic and industry groups to advance R&D for regulatory and clinical development. She also plays a key role in business development, helping to build strategic partnerships that drive innovation and growth. Kim oversees commercial operations, specializing in human platelet lysate R&D. She holds a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Massachusetts. After running her own physical therapy clinic, she transitioned to the biomedical industry to advance patient care on a larger scale.

Rob oversees financial operations, treasury management, reporting, tax compliance, and HR at Compass Biomedical, bringing over 25 years of experience, including 8 with the company. He previously held management roles in manufacturing, sports entertainment, and municipal accounting. Rob holds a B.S. in Accounting from Providence College.

Alcimar leads quality systems and document control at Compass Biomedical, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality products. With over a decade in the medical device industry, he has extensive experience with FDA and international audits and is well-versed in QMS standards, including ISO 13485, MDSAP, MDD/MDR, and IVDD/IVDR

Gabby oversees lab operations, supply chain, and manufacturing of PLUS™ Human Platelet Lysate at Compass Biomedical. She manages in-house product testing, including biochemical analysis and MSC culture. Gabby holds a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Connecticut, where she researched platelet additive solutions and co-led a team developing a VR glove system to teach breast self-exams in underserved communities.

Mary is a dedicated and detail-oriented laboratory technician specializing in cell culture media. With a foundation in aseptic technique, and GMP-compliant laboratory practices, Mary plays a critical role in supporting the production of high-quality products. Her work directly contributes to the smooth workflow of the lab and enablement of product to reach customers safely and quickly.
