Grants and Awards
Compass Biomedical is proud to announce that it has awarded its first Conference Participation Grant in 2017. The award is intended to cover the conference registration fees for academic researchers working on interesting human platelet lysate (hPL) projects. The grant allows the awardee to present their research at a relevant conference.
Cátia Bandeiras from the Institute of Data, Systems and Society at MIT was chosen to present her work at the Cell and Gene Therapy Bioprocessing and Commercialization conference held in Boston, MA September 26th through the 28th.
She will be presenting her poster titled “Cost effectiveness analysis of expansion of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BM-MSCs) and adipose stem cells (ASCs) with PLUS™ human platelet lysate (hPL).”
If you are interested in presenting your work at a conference in 2018 and would like to be considered for the Compass Biomedical Conference Participation Grant, please contact us at [email protected].
